A chamber vocal ensemble that is part of the Goldberg Baroque Ensemble, founded by Andrzej Mikołaj Szadejko. The ensemble’s line-up is rotating. It includes young singers who gain experience performing early music using early vocal techniques. Many former members of the ensemble continue their singing careers in professional ensembles or solo. The ensemble works on recordings from the Musical Heritage of the City of Gdańsk and Musica Baltica series, projects carried out in cooperation with the Gdańsk Library of the Polish Academy of Sciences. GVE also performs a cappella, presenting early music from Gdańsk, as well as compositions by contemporary artists.
