Ingrida Gapova – soprano

A graduate of the Vocal and Acting Department of the AMFN Bydgoszcz, a two-time scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Her opera repertoire includes opera parts by Mozart, L. Vinci, B. Smetana, E. Humperdinck, M. Mussorgsky, H. Purcell, A. Nowak, J.P. Rameau. She was a laureate of the Selma D and Leon Fishbach Memorial Prize at the 2015 London Handel Singing Competition, she also won the 3rd prize in the opera category and 5 special prizes (including for the best interpretation of Mozart’s works) at the 48th International Antonín Dvořák Competition in Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic). With the Goldberg Baroque Ensemble she recorded for Sarton Records the world premieres of Christmas Cantatas of 18th century Gdańsk (2010), Lent Cantatas of 18th century Gdańsk (2011), Passio Christi by J.B.C. Freislich (2012) and The Gdańsk Baroque Cantatas (2015), Secular Cantatas by J.B.C. Freislich (2020), Sacred Music by J.V. Meder (2020). Together with the ensemble she received numerous nominations for the Fryderyk music awards. In 2022, she took part in the Moniuszko 150 project with the same ensemble, as part of which she played concerts in Vilnius and Berlin, commemorating the 150th anniversary of Stanisław Moniuszko’s death. The artist’s interests also include contemporary repertoire. This resulted in the world premiere of Spoon River Anthology by composer Aleksander Nowak and multimedia artist Adam Dudek. The piece was performed at the opening of the 56th edition of the Warsaw Autumn Festival in 2013. In the 2023/2024 season, she became a member of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo in Monaco.
